The 3rd Workshop of the Little School of Learning “It’s one thing to learn, and another to show knowledge: how to overcome nervousness and shine in the exam.”

We would like to invite you to the 3rd Workshop of the Little School of Learning “It’s one thing to learn, and another to show knowledge: how to overcome nervousness and shine in the exam.”

📍02.02.2023. 📍12:00-13:30

Are you familiar with this situation: you’ve come to an exam or you have a presentation in front of your colleagues, and your hands are shaking, your voice is trembling, there is a void in your head or a bunch of thoughts unrelated to what you need to say, you can’t remember anything and the words don’t come out of your mouth?

At the 3rd workshop of the Little School of Learning, we will talk about these situations. For some people, stage fright occurs often, for some rarely, for some only in certain situations. But we all have some experience with stage fright. It most often occurs in situations when we are exposed to the views of others, when we have to show ourselves and when others evaluate us in some way. In this workshop, we will explain to you what stage fright is, why it occurs, what affects stage fright, and you will receive tips on how to reduce it.

The workshop will be held by Kristina Perišić from the University of Velika Gorica, as a project partner within the project: “Acquisition of key practical skills in the field of environmental engineering”.

The workshop is held online via Zoom. At the workshop we will discuss and do exercises, so cameras and sound are welcome. You can access the workshop via the link.

Registration is mandatory in order to know the number of interested students and adjust the workshop activities accordingly. You can apply via the link.
