Field practice in Slavonia and Baranja - Acquisition of key practical skills in the field of environmental engineering

In the period from 27.06. – 28.06.2022. 1st and 2nd year graduate students in Environmental Engineering – study programme Water Management and educators from the Geotechnical Faculty participated in the field practice in Slavonia and Baranja as part of the project: “Acquisition of key practical skills in the field of environmental engineering”, UP.03.1.1.04.0059.

The first day of the field practice included:

Lecture on the hydrogeological conditions of the Vinkovac aquifer – VS/CS “Kanovci” (PhD Jasna Kopić – Vinkovački vodovod i kanalizacija d.o.o.),
Drilling a well using the reverse method – microlocation in the area of Uljara Čepin,
Presentation of research as part of the ISSAH project, measurement of groundwater level, core inspection and logger reading – Radoš location.

During the second day of the field practice students visited:
Water conservancy and pumping station Zlatna Greda – Hrvatske vode d.o.o.
Prosine pumping station, tour of the conditioning plant – Baranjski vodovod d.o.o.
Karanac – Baranjska kuća – lecture on the hydrogeological conditions of Baranja
