Today, the Center for Career Development organized the first online workshop for mentors of professional practice outside of the university. The workshop was led by the Green Energy Cooperative with the support of other project partners, and was attended by a total of 11 mentors of professional practice.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce mentors outside of the university to the system of professional practice at the Faculty of Geotechnics, University of Zagreb and to train them for monitoring, evaluation and assessment of students who they will mentor. Also, the workshop was aimed at introducing mentors to the application of experiential techniques and methods of work and the development of their communication skills and techniques in order for future cooperation between them and practitioners to be as successful as possible.
The mentors rated the workshop as very successful through the evaluation questionnaire.
