Work practice at the Geotechnical Faculty for students from the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica

On June 13 and 14, 2022, work practice for students from the  the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica  took place at the Geotechnical Faculty in Varaždin.

A total of 23 students from  the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica participated in the work practice. Sstudents spent the first day of their work practice in a chemistry practicum where the work practice was led by PhD Dragana Dogančić, while, on the second day, work practice was carried out in the Environmental Engineering Laboratory under the mentorship of Lucija Radetić mag. ing. geoing.

The aim of the work practice was to familiarize the students of the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica with the safe way of working in the research laboratory, show students how to recognize the dangers and risks they may encounter when performing work in laboratories, how to set up research, how to develop research methodology, conduct research and interpret the results of the research.
