The Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, the Faculty of Textile Technology and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics have jointly celebrated the World Environment Day, which celebrates 50th anniversary in the world this year.
On the World Environment Day, held on 7th of June 2022, in the Park of Ivan Pavao II in Varaždin, technologies for air and water purification, soil protection, reuse of various types of waste and the application of information technologies in environmental protection were presented.
The organizers prepared interactive eco-questionnaires for the participants in which they could win prizes, and they could also rest on blankets specially made for this occasion.
As part of the celebration of the World Environment Day in Varaždin, projects carried out by the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering University of Zagreb, which are funded by the EU, were also promoted.
